Last spring when the teachers said that we (all the students) would have to get an Ipad to use at school the next year I was not happy because I would rather work on a computer than an ipad. And since 9th graders get tablets anyways I felt like it was a downgrade. The reason why I would rather work on a computer is because a computer has a full operating system so there are more options and I felt like I would have a hard time typing on an ipad. But there was no saying no because that was the decision of the school. Over the summer I got my Ipad so I had a bit of time to use it and get used to typing with it but I still wanted to type on a real keyboard. But all my skepticism went away on the first day of using the Ipads.
To me the real thing that changed my view on the Ipads was that all the apps could export documents and PDF's to other apps so you could type something in Pages, then annotate it in Notability then upload it to your Weebly, and since we all are using Ipads sharing is as easy as clicking two buttons and just like that the document appears on you friends Ipad. This amount of compatibility is amazing and as I use my Ipad more and more I will get more adapt with using it and I will grow to love it more that a standard laptop that I have been using for years.
